#ArtsMatter Advocacy Day On March 25, arts advocates from the statewide creative community, including Arlington Cultural Council members Elisabeth Taylor and Jeff Boudreau, came together to make the case that #ArtsMatter. Together, we honed our advocacy skills, marched to the State House, and met with legislators to talk about the impact of arts & culture in Massachusetts.

Jeff was “volunteered” to help push the JP Honk Band’s keyboard tricycle from Citi Wang Theatre, through Boston Common and up Beacon Hill to the Massachusetts State House.

The march route was from the theatre district, along the Boylston Street side of the Common up to the State House.


Signs were not allowed inside, but the legislators were receptive to our words.
